Jiji's Shed (2008)
10th International Shoebox Sculpture Exhibition, University of Hawai'i Art Gallery

My grandfather worked for Dole on Lana'i. In his spare time, he built this shed and used it as his office and workshop. Much of the interior was fashioned from scrap and found materials. It was a magical place, where he created beautiful things.
